Fingerprint Appointment

So the USCIS got our I-600A and we just got our fingerprinting appointment from the Department of Homeland Security. After we get that done on October 4th, we'll just be waiting for them to send us our permission letter. Things continue to move along...praise God!

6/25/07 Formal Adoption Application Submitted
9/9/07 Home Study Completed
9/14/07 Mailed I-600A
10/26/07 Received I-171H
11/5/07 Sent dossier to courier in D.C.
11/12/07 Dossier arrived in Ethiopia
3/24/08 First round of travel shots
4/29/08 Second round of travel shots
7/3/08 Request officially changed to adopt two children
7/29/08 Applied to USCIS for permission to adopt two children
8/12/08 Accepted referral of three and a half year old boy!
10/08 Accepted referral of 7 month old girl
11/18/08 First court date - unsuccessful
12/12/08 Second court date - unsuccessful
1/14/09 Third court date successful - children are officially ours!
2/11/09 Left for Ethiopia to bring kids home
2/21/09 Arrived back in the US with our almost 4 year old boy and 10 month old girl
