Three fun little words...GIVE. A. WAY.

Yes, it's a giveaway! Two people will be chosen to win one in-stock item of their choice from my website, Sweet Baby Things.

I originally started Sweet Baby Things as a way to help fund our adoption costs for the two kids we were adopting from Ethiopia. We've been home with the kids for a couple months now and we recently found out that the paperwork costs to complete the adoption in the U.S. will actually total about $2000. We are also going to have some pretty hefty dental bills for sweet Solomon as he has extensive tooth decay - a couple teeth rotted off to near the gums and many hollowed out from decay.

I've been thinking for awhile about adding another product to the site and I've finally done it...it's pillowcase dresses! (They're really cute, in my unbiased opinion. Even my husband thinks so and he's totally unbiased, as well.) Now, I just need to do some marketing and that's where this giveaway comes in.

So, here's how it works. Please leave one comment on this post for each category you complete (one time per category). One comment equals one entry for the giveaway. So if you do 5 of the things below, you get to leave 5 comments and are entered 5 times. Cool, huh? Here are the ways to enter:

1. Write a post on your blog about this giveaway with a link to: http://www.sweetbabythings.net/. Leave a comment here including a link to your blog post. If you get your husband to post one on his blog he can leave a comment, too. ;-)

2. Tweet about this giveaway with a link to http://www.sweetbabythings.net/. Post a link to your tweet in your comment to this post.

3. Post about my giveaway on Facebook and link to http://www.sweetbabythings.net/. Post a comment letting me know you did this.

4. Grab the Sweet Baby Things button and put it on your blog or website...and leave it there after the giveaway ;-) Instructions for this are under my button at the top of the right-hand column.

5. If you have ever used an item from Sweet Baby Things, take a picture of your sweet baby using or wearing it and email me the picture for the Sweet Baby Things photo gallery. Email the photo(s) to sweetbabythings@mellen-crandell.com. Leave a comment on this post letting me know you have emailed me a picture. (Please make sure only your own children are in the photo or that you obtain permission from the parent(s) of other kids for me to post their photo on my website.)

6. Subscribe to Sweet Baby Things here: http://www.sweetbabythings.net/Subscribe.aspx. Post a comment letting me know you subscribed.

7. If you have loved a product from Sweet Baby Things, write a customer testimonial for my website. You can just post your testimonial as your comment along with your first name and last initial.

Comments need to fit one of these entry criteria to make it past our stringent comment moderator. Also, please make sure to leave your email address if it's not linked to a blogger account. I have to have a way to contact you if you win! The winners will have 48 hours from the time I email them to contact me back and claim their prize. If I have not heard back from them within 48 hours, they forfeit their prize and a new winner will be randomly chosen. Open to U.S. residents only.

The deadline for the first drawing will be June 8th at 11:59pm. After that drawing, all the valid comment entries from the first giveaway (minus the first winner) will be eligible for the second giveaway, plus anyone else who makes valid posts before the second giveaway deadline of 11:59pm on June 15th.
